For a new user, a basic mission could be:

It's actually been a few months since we have been trapped outside. With our resources trapped inside the universe. 

Update  the barrier is down . The fleet reunion in activeworlds space was a sight.

The starship quest leads an expedition to a new planet off all known records found in a lost ancient tower.

As soon as the shuttle teams enter range to land most technology is blocked from use.

We can't see beyond the terrain but suspect the block is hiding something big.

Mystic islands this one holds remnants of ancient beings that once lived across the universes.  Ascended beings still roam this forest.

On a busy boat channel frequently visited by travelers from far away worlds.

Working with the starship in orbit we replaced a warp core modified to use in the ancient towers on occasion. The team on site begins to activate the dormant systems
